Food PantryThe Bridgewater Area Inter-Church Food Pantry was organized in 1983 by churches in the Bridgewater area at a time when there were few similar organizations in the area.  It is solely run by volunteers from local churches and interested area residents.

Through the Food Pantry, supplemental food  is supplied to any members of the member and affiliated churches and to anyone  with a need for such assistance who resides within a five mile radius of Bridgewater.

The Bridgewater Food Pantry meets at 7:00 p.m. in our church’s Fellowship Hall on the first and third Tuesdays of the month.  Currently, due to COVID distancing, the Food Pantry is open for curbside only pick up from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Those seeking financial assistance are referred to established and staffed area social services organizations such as People Helping People.

Generous food and financial donations are received from area residents, churches, the Boy/Girl Scout annual food drive, Bridgewater College, service organizations, and local corporate donors.

In 2018, we partnered with students from Bridgewater College on a Community Garden Project.
