Jeffery, known to many as Jeff, grew up in Augusta County. He graduated from Bridgewater College in 2002 with B.A. in Communication Studies & minor in Philosophy & Religion.  He began his seminary work at Union-PSCE in Richmond, VA later transferring to Eastern Mennonite Seminary.  Jeff graduated in 2005 with his Master of Divinity degree.
In 2005 Jeff began a Clinical Pastoral Education residency at the UVa Health System. In that role he served as a chaplain resident in both adult and pediatric settings. After completion of the program in 2007 Jeff began as Director of Pastoral Care at Bridgewater Retirement Community prior to accepting the call of the Bridgewater Church of the Brethren in 2010. Jeff was ordained in 2009. 
Jeff and his wife Wendy, a nurse, have one son, Gabe.  Jeff enjoys a good laugh, good music, iced tea, and travel.

Pastor Chris' Blog: The Emerging Brethren Dude
Chris Zepp began as our Associate Pastor for Youth, Younger Adults, and Families in 2007.  Chris graduated from Bridgewater College in 2000 with a major in Philosophy and Religion and a minor in Peace Studies.  He is a native of Hagerstown, Maryland, is married, and recently celebrated the birth of a son; they also have a young daughter.  Prior to beginning his ministry with us, he had served as Pastor of Youth at the Lancaster (PA) Church of the Brethren and Associate Pastor for Youth and Young Adults at the Mountville (PA) Church of the Brethren.  He and his wife also spent a year in volunteer service at Gould Farm in Monterey, Massachusetts.  Chris was ordained in March 2007 after being licensed for nearly ten years and graduated from Bethany Theological Seminary in May 2008 with his Masters of Divinity. Personal interests include sports, humor, and music. At right, Chris dons formal attire to benefit Relay for Life.
