The Garden Committee first convened in the Fall of 2001 to discuss the purposes, names and policy of the emerging garden on the North West side of the church. By spring of 2002 we were planning the layout and plantings for the garden. Summer of 2002 was dry and plans were in progress - planting was planned for the spring of 2003. In April the wall and walk were installed and on April 26, an opporturnity for church members to select plants and trees in honor or memory of loved ones was offered. On May 30 and 31, between rain showers, these trees were planted.
