International Day of Prayer
for Peace
Monday evening at 7:00 p.m.,
September 21, 2009
The International Day of
Prayer for Peace will soon be here.
We want to invite you and your congregation to join us on Monday evening
at 7:00 p.m., September 21, 2009, at the Bridgewater Church of the Brethren,
420 College View Drive.
Peace is more than the
absence of war and more than the absence of violence. We are preparing to share an evening of drama through the
poignant and hilarious new show by Ted and Company Theater Works. This premier showing of
Id like to Buy an
Enemy allows us to laugh while
raising important questions about our world today. The beautiful voices of the Russian Baptist youth choir will
bring several songs for our listening ears.
The doors of the church will
open at 6:15 p.m. A donation of $5.00 is suggested to cover the cost of this
special evening of drama and music.
Ted and Company request no photos or cam recorders during the
presentation. They will have available
DVDs of their other presentations for you to purchase after the program.
In the meantime, we trust you
will be praying for Peace in your community and in the world. There are so many situations people are facing
where prayer can make a difference.

concerns about this invitation, please feel free to contact Roma Jo Thompson,
