NOTES OF THANKS

Mere words seem inadequate to express our grateful appreciation for the many acts of love, concern, and sympathy we received throughout our beloved Sheila’s heartbreaking illness and passing. We thank each and every member of our wonderful church family for the prayers, flowers, cards, food and visits from which we have drawn so much comfort. We most sincerely thank all who so eloquently contributed to Sheila’s beautiful memorial service: Pastors Robert and Wendell, Rev. Quay, John Barr, Michael Mason and his ushers, Dean Neher, those who provided refreshments, and everyone who attended the celebration of Sheila’s life. Our Heavenly Father’s loving grace and Sheila’s gentle spirit were very much in evidence throughout the service, and continue to surround us each day.

~ Greg, Charles and Ferne Owen

I want to express my appreciation for your thoughtfulness with cards, phone calls, visits, prayers, and the flowers as I continue to recover from my surgery.  Especially grateful for Pastor Robert’s visit and Rev. Wendell’s phone calls.  My best wishes,

Clyde Pugh

Thank you for your Christmas offering!  Your donation of $1,261.25 will help us share our faith legacy with visitors who come to CrossRoads…. Thank you for helping CrossRoads fulfill its mission of sharing and celebrating the story of Jesus Christ as it has been reflected in the lives of Mennonites and Brethren in the Shenandoah Valley.  Sincerely,

   Steve Shenk, Executive Director

“Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths.”

– Psalm 25:4

We received word that you have made an additional gift to our support fund.  Thank you!  Your gifts and prayerful support are a significant source of encouragement to us.  We are presently waiting for our work visas to be approved.  It is difficult to know how to use this time, but we are studying Arabic, reading mission books, fine-honing our strategy, and recruiting other families to join us in Sudan.  Keep us on your prayer list.  Be not afraid,     Jim & Pam Hardenbrook

I want to extend my deep appreciation for your recent gift for the Sudan Initiative.  It is exciting to witness the enthusiasm for the new mission work in the Sudan as it continues to unfold….I celebrate your choice to join us in this great endeavor.  In Christ,

Bradley Bohrer, Director of the Sudan Initiative

NOTES OF THANKS CONTINUED

Thank you for your gift to help fund services at the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Free Clinic.  You may be assured that your donation of $3,022.50 is used wisely as the Free Clinic provides $500.00 in direct health care for every $100.00 in donations….Thanks so much for thinking of us in your Christmas offering.  We greatly appreciate your support.  Sincerely,

Rich Sider, Executive Director
